WHERE'D YOU GO ? About Previous Archives ![]() free blog - eBloggy designed by maystardesigns |
hello people, this is like one of the 'last time' i'm blogging because i will be enlisting into the SPF tmr. will be out during CNY. wkend was spent at home nua-ing and enjoying my life. somehow i seem to be treasuring every moment because whatever i did was at a super slow pace. i walked slowly to buy my meal, i sat down and ate slowly and savouring every bite. haha. sunday went to have lunch with stan, ivan and wc then went to kh's hse for a while.
last wk as RT in rv. on monday as i walked from boon lay mrt to sch, i treasured every step i took and every breath i breathed because i knw things wouldn't be the same nxt monday. i certainly enjoy the serenity and freshness of the early morning and this has cultivated in me a habit of going to sch early. lessons were normal on monday, except that after the morning lessons, i kinda of feel uncomfortable. alittle hot on the head and alittle giddy. stayed in sch for the afternoon lesson as i tried to take power naps in between. had afternoon lesson, went home and was down with fever. luckily it subsided the nxt morning as i was worried that no one would take over my class the nxt day. went to sch as usual. stayed back in sch after that to slack awhile before going home to rest more. wednesday was the last time i am meeting my year 6 classes and to my surprise, despite 3 short wks and 2 hours of lessons per wk, some of them expressed gratitude and some kind of emotional attachment. regardless of whether they are being truthful or whether they just wanna gl me (haha), i am still glad and appreciatiaive of them and thankful that i have this opportunity to experience teaching (if you consider taking them for PT a form of teaching). they certainly make my virgin teaching experience smooth and memorable. after my lessons, played tennis with the RTs. after school, stayed back in sch to slack around and 'observe' the school on a cca day. thursday was another fun day. in the morning, took over mrs yeow's sec1 cls. teaching sec1 is a totally whole new experience from teaching year 5 and 6. haha. quite fun. then went for mr teo's CID cls. after that played badminton with the RTs and we had fun again. haha. went for afternoon lesson and then played soccer. lost 1-3 though. but at least i got to play on the new turf. i'm satisfied alr. haha. friday was my last day in rv as RT. after lessons, cam whored with the RTs. haha. then me hj and stan went to have lunch at billy bombers. nice food! then went back to slack around since it is a cca day. i like it when the whole sch is having cca and the sch is like bustling with activities. :D played bball in the rain and then watched the snr vs jnr bball match. then went off to have dinner with pa jnrs at jp before heading home.
2 wks since i last posted. wk2 was mainly spent at home and going back to sajc to collect my eagles award. last wk was the start of my work as a relief teacher in my alma mater, RV. was quite glad and grateful that i was given this opportunity to return to my alma mater 'officially' and also to use the new school facilities, see familiar faces, experience the jobscope of a teacher and most importantly resurrect and rejuvenate the RV spirit in me. haha. since it was my alma mater, adapting to the new surroundings wasn't really much of a problem as i have my teachers to guide me and my frens to keep me company. the 1st 2 days was a uber slack day for me because the year 5 and 6 are having their orientation so i just followed amanda around while she had her lessons with the sec3 and 4 classes. wednesday was like the start of my lessons and it was kinda of slack because it was just height and weight and abit of running. not much of a challenge except that they like to giggle and whine. (my classes are all girls)haha. friday was our school's 54th anniversary so we only had 2 days of lessons. the performance was nice and it had been long since i watched a performance in rv as an audience. then the teachers (which includes the RTs) went for reception before we went back to staff room to slack around and tour around the school to look at the learning symposium.
saturday: met up with weida n hiren and soccer
went to msia to visit my gramps. futsal. bike hike chalet. that's abt it for my hols so far. kinda of feeling bored and not knowing what to do nowadays. feel like doing smth enriching without wasting time. zzz...
tuesday: class gathering at amanda's hse
this week was less hectic than the previous due to the fact that we had 3 days of weekend but apparently i kinda of wasted one out of the three days. zzz... chem paper2 on tuesday was relatively easy and i guess the benchmark for A would certainly be raised. oh well. the following day was econs. honestly speaking, i did not feel as well prepared for this paper as compared to during the prelims. it just seems like the feeling for writing econs essays, the various links of macro concepts weren't in my mind. when the exam started, i flipped over the question paper and stared at the questions for about 5-10mins which was a total waste of time. in my 2 years stint of taking econs exams, never had i felt so stunned that i did not know which questions to choose. eventually, one of my question is totally screwed up. screwed up as in i don't even know whether there are any econs concepts in it. the answers for the other 2 questions were just mediocre and i wonder if i did answer the question properly. haix. was so demoralised by that econs paper 2. somemore econs had been kinda of a pet subject for me since i started learning it and now that i would flunk it during alvl is rather sadddening. 2 days later on friday, it was econs paper 1. a chance for me to redeem myself. csq 1 was alright until the last 10mins of the exam. while i was doing the last part of csq 2 when i realised that i misintepreted the question to mean 'the benefits of investment to china from singapore' instead of 'benefits of investment to singapore from china'. so with approx 5 mins left, i had to chiong some points out and that kind of feeling isn't nice especially when you know that the exam is ending soon and you have already screwed up paper 2. to make matters worse, one of the question required us to compare the current account of USA and China and i was dumb enough to refer to the wrong table. -.- oh well. | ||||||
