crossroad

about halfway through my BMT course and so far so good. have been thinking and pondering which courses to take. went for both the NUS and NTU open house on saturday but it wasn't of much use. after that went to ecp to see my odac jnrs' OEC. and finally home sweet home

any advice or suggestions?

A Level...

another week in hta passed by really quickly. by wednesday, news that the Alevel results will be released on friday 230pm had been confirmed. everyone from my squad was like alittle bit not their usual self because of the constant worrying of our results. on thursday night, many of us couldn't really sleep, including me. luckily the pt and lessons on friday morning passed by really quickly. after lunch, we walked out and weida's uncle drove us to sajc. met up with the other classmates at potong pasir mac. chit chat, eat and after that we headed to school. went into the hall and sat tgth as a class. at that time, my feeling was still nonchalent because i was ready to accept whatever results that come. the mentality was that of 'prepare for the worst but hope for the best'. haha. after some admin briefing and some statistics, the principal announced those students with perfect rank points of 90 followed by the top chinese/malay/indian students. then the next part was those with outstanding cca contribution and also had rank points of more than 80. first, it was the sc, followed by sports and games, performing arts and then clubs and societies. just when the flashed the powerpoint for clubs and societies, my classmates immediately shouted, 'JJ!' and started whacking me. honestly, i did not scan the ppt fast enough to see my names, but it was my classmates who told me. haha. i saw my name there on the screen and i was totally surprised. it was truly unbelievable and in a matter of minutes i was shaking hands with the principal to receive my result slip. at that moment, i was just happy/elated/joyful/whatever positive happy words. also there were alot of thoughts running through my mind: there must be some mistakes in the marking; tyco de lah; even if i am lucky, how can i be lucky to such an extent.' this is because it has been really really long since i last remember myself going on stage to acknowledge something from the academic field. perhaps the previous time was when i got best in chinese penmanship in primary 4? lol. now i sound as if i am the top scholar in singapore. haha. nevertheless, i'm just pleased and satisfied with the results i've gotten although i expected the grades to show a result slip worthy of 83 rank points. math could have been better and econs is really a big surprise for me. :D after the principal is done, we proceeded to have our photos taken. rushed back to the hall to catch up with my other classmates. after that went home then went out for dinner with wc and stan. saturday went to sa to watch soccer friendly between rv and sa. 7-0. haha. then went to meet up with hj, th and xy for lunch.

finally we are done with one of the stepping stones in our life and we are at another crossroad of choosing which path we should take which will greatly impact our future. currently, i'm still aimless and i hope to sort out my thoughts and choices and descisions asap. to those who have done well, congrats. to those who have not done that well, there are 2 quotes, 'upset but accept' and 'that's what friends are for'. :)

one month anniversary with HTA

as the title has already suggested, i've served 1month of my BMT. thinking of it, it looks rather fast but at the same time there are still 2 more months to go. oh well... haha i shall make the best out of it. saturday went out with hj and stan to the ntu talks at suntec. saw quite a number of familiar faces. then went to meet up alan and kahhan. booking in soon.

short wk

ns as usual. but it was particularly short because it was only 3 days. after i booked out on friday, went to rv to have steamboat with the RTs. it has been like 3 wks since i met them. was contemplating whether to go anot since i'm bald now. haha. but in the end, still went ahead. wkend is really a good time to catch up with friends and to have a good rest at home. :D though the wkend is like really short.

peaceful cny

so the cny holidays are coming to an end and i will be booking in in a few hours' time. i think this is the most peaceful and carefree cny i have ever had since i can't go over to msia due to some rules. so my family went to bai nian without me. my neighbourhood was also very quiet to the extent that it was abit like a ghost town. haha. there were hardly any shops open too. just spent my time relaxing and idling. :D

NS SPF: confinement wk/CNY/Vday

yup so i'm finally back from my confinement wk. almost 2wks spent inside HTA. underwent lots of physical trg as well as law lessons. nth much to talk about except that the first few days was damn hiong but i guess i am adapting to it quite well. when i booked out and was taking the shuttle bus to cck mrt, i had this sudden appreciation of the things/surroundings around me. the trees, flowers, cars, people walking about. i think it must have been because i have been inside hta for 2wks. when i reached cck mrt i met yujie and yongzhi coincidentally and it is always very pleasing to see your friends. :D sleep. nxt day went to have lunch with ivan and stan and we shared our ns stories. after that went to my aunt's place to have reunion dinner. spending the rest of the cny at home.

警察故事

hello people, this is like one of the 'last time' i'm blogging because i will be enlisting into the SPF tmr. will be out during CNY. wkend was spent at home nua-ing and enjoying my life. somehow i seem to be treasuring every moment because whatever i did was at a super slow pace. i walked slowly to buy my meal, i sat down and ate slowly and savouring every bite. haha. sunday went to have lunch with stan, ivan and wc then went to kh's hse for a while.

tdy went back to my 'mother school' haha. met up with the RTs for the last time. went out to eat at jp with the dept. chit chat eat. went back to watch netball match. distributed my doughnuts to the my dept, some teachers and PA. went to play badminton and bball with the RTs. that's how the day ended for me. at night was spent with my family and finishing up with some packing.

alright then people, off i go. i shall be more optimistic and look foward to the nxt phase in life. =D haha.
